Поточний контроль
здійснюється на кожному практичному занятті відповідно до конкретних цілей теми і має на меті перевірку засвоєння студентами навчального матеріалу. На всіх практичних заняттях застосовуються види стандартизованого контролю теоретичної підготовки та контроль засвоєння практичних навичок. Кожне практичне заняття передбачає розбір теоретичного матеріалу, індивідуальне поточне опитування, виконання студентами практичної роботи та тестування. Самостійна робота студентів оцінюється під час поточного контролю теми на відповідному занятті. За підсумком усіх видів діяльності виставляється підсумкова оцінка за тему за чотирибальною шкалою.

Тестовий контроль (студент в системі Mіsа отримує 10 тестів, відповідає та отримує результат у балах (від 0 до 10) та відсотках (від 0 до 100)).

Відмінно («5») -студент бездоганно засвоїв теоретичний матеріал теми заняття, демонструє глибокі і всебічні знання відповідної теми,. правильно, чітко, логічно і повно відповідає на всі стандартизовані питання поточної теми, включно з питаннями лекційного курсу і самостійної роботи. Тісно пов’язує теорію з практикою і правильно демонструє виконання (знання) практичних навичок. Вирішує задачі підвищеної складності, вміє узагальнювати матеріал. Правильно відповів на 9-10 тестових питань
Добре («4») – студент добре засвоїв теоретичний матеріал заняття, правильно, і по суті відповідає на стандартизовані питання поточної теми, лекційного курсу і самостійної роботи. Демонструє виконання (знання) практичних навичок. Правильно використовує теоретичні знання при вирішенні практичних завдань. Вміє вирішувати легкі і середньої складності задачі. Володіє необхідними практичними навиками і прийомами їх виконання в обсязі, що перевищує необхідний мінімум. Правильно відповів щонайменше на 7-8 тестових питань.
Задовільно («3») – студент в основному опанував теоретичними знаннями навчальної теми, неповно, за допомогою додаткових питань, відповідає на стандартизовані питання поточної теми, лекційного курсу і самостійної роботи. Не може самостійно побудувати чітку, логічну відповідь. Під час відповіді і демонстрації практичних навичок студент робить помилки. Студент вирішує лише найлегші задачі, володіє лише обов’язковим мінімумом методів дослідження. Правильно відповів щонайменше на 5-6 тестових питань.
Незадовільно («2») – студент не опанував навчальний матеріал теми, не знає наукових фактів, визначень, не може дати логічну відповідь, не відповідає на додаткові запитання, не розуміє змісту матеріалу. Під час відповіді і демонстрації практичних навичок робить значні, грубі помилки. Відповів на менше, ніж 5 тестових питань.

Мають бути зараховані усі теми, винесені на поточний контроль. Оцінки з 4-ри бальної шкали конвертуються у бали за багатобальною (200-бальною) шкалою відповідно до Положення «Критерії, правила і процедури оцінювання результатів навчальної діяльності студентів»

Мінімальна кількість балів- 120
Максимальна кількість балів, яку може набрати студент за поточну навчальну діяльність при вивченні дисципліни становить 200 балів.
Мінімальна кількість балів, яку повинен набрати студент за поточну навчальну діяльність для зарахування дисципліни становить 120 балів.
Розрахунок кількості балів проводиться на підставі отриманих студентом оцінок за 4-ри бальною (національною) шкалою під час вивчення дисципліни, шляхом обчислення середнього арифметичного (СА), округленого до двох знаків після коми. Отримана величина конвертується у бали за багатобальною шкалою таким чином
Оцінка з дисципліни базується на результатах поточної навчальної діяльності та виражається за двобальною шкалою «зараховано» або «не зараховано». Для зарахування студент має отримати за поточну навчальну діяльність бал не менше 60% від максимальної суми балів з дисципліни (120 балів).
Assessment criteria
Current control is performed on the basis of a test assessment of the initial level of knowledge, a check of home written self-preparation for the class, practical work in the class according to the topic, plan and program (examination of the patient, writing of the examination protocol, solving situational problems, level 2 tests). Forms of assessment of current educational activities are standardized and include control of theoretical and practical training. During the evaluation of the mastery of each topic for the current educational activity, the student is given grades on a 4-point (traditional) scale. At the same time, all types of work provided by the educational program are taken into account. The student must receive a grade in each topic. Method of verifying learning outcomes
Excellent (“5”): 90-100% answers for format A tests (10 MCQs, single best answer of 5 given answers) are correct; correct clear, complete and logical answers for the questions about the current topic, including questions and tasks for individual work. Presence of qualitative and complete home task. A student closely links theory to practice and correctly demonstrates practical skills; able to solve clinical cases of increased complexity and to summarize the material. A student correctly conducts physical examination of thematic patient, has the necessary communication skills, and uses the principles of medical deontology.
Good (“4”): 70-89% answers for format A tests are correct; clear and right answers for the questions about the current topic, including questions and tasks for individual work. There is a qualitative home task. A student correctly demonstrates practical skills or makes non-significant mistakes; able to solve typical clinical cases and cases of moderate complexity. A student correctly conducts physical examination of thematic patient, has the necessary practical skills, and makes no fatal mistakes during diagnosis and treatment. A student may communicate with patients and colleagues, using the principles of medical deontology.
Satisfactory (“3”): 60-69% answers for format A tests are correct. Homework is incomplete or contains mistakes. Inadequate or incomplete answers for the questions about the current topic and individual work. A student cannot build a clear, logical answer; makes significant mistakes when answering and demonstrating practical skills; solves only easy typical clinical cases, has a minimum of necessary practical skills; performs examination and plan treatments with errors that do not threaten the patient’s life; has a minimum of communication skills, uses the principles of medical deontology.
Unsatisfactory (“2”): less than 60% answers for format A tests are correct. The home task is written very bad or is absent. A student does not know the material of the current topic, cannot answer independently and logically to additional questions, does not understand the content of the material; makes significant mistakes when answering and demonstrating practical skills; conducts examination and plan treatment with fatal consequences for a patient; has insufficient communication or verbal skills; insufficiently uses the principles of medical deontology.
Final control
Final control is performed in the end of 5th year. Attendance of all practical classes and implementation of all kinds of mandatory activity during the year with a minimum rating 72 points, maximum 120 points
The examination in the discipline “Internal Medicine” includes: Ten MCQs (single best answer of 5 given answers), each correct answer values 1 point; two clinical cases with 5 open questions for a topic studied during the 4th and 5th year respectively; the answer for each question is rated 0-3-4-5 points; two electrocardiograms described according to the algorithm with the formation of conclusion; each description is evaluated 0-6-8-10 points.
Minimum rating for the exam is 50 points (level below is a criterion of failure that is not added to the year rating);
Maximum rating 80 points
The scheme of accrual and distribution of points received by students reflects the discipline’s evaluation system on a traditional four-point and 200-point scale. The grade for the course consists of the sum of the points of 4 semesters, which are currently assigned by the teachers (maximum 120 points, minimum 72 points) and points for the final control, which are assigned during the exam (maximum 80 points, minimum 50 points). Points from the discipline are independently converted both to the ECTS scale and to the 4-point scale. The points of the ECTS scale are not converted into a 4-point scale and vice versa.
The calculation of the number of points is carried out on the basis of the grades received by the student on a traditional scale during the study of the discipline by calculating the arithmetic average (CA), which is converted into points on a multi-point scale as follows:
x = CA × 120 / 5.
For convenience, a calculation table is provided on a 120-point scale (see the table below) and rating for the exam (described above).
