Activities of the department

The main objectives of labor protection service:

- The control over the state of labor protection
- The development of the necessary labor protection documents for the university
- Ensuring that employees comply with the rules and requirements of labor protection and regulatory acts
- The control over observance of sanitary and hygienic norms of labor legislation
- The prevention of Industrial injuries, propagation of positive decisions that increase the safety of production processes
- To inform employees about the rules of secure work

The main functions of labor protection service:

- The development and organization labor protection management’s system
- The development with the responsible specialists of the measures on working conditions’ improvement
- The control over the employment contract terms’ implementation to improve working conditions
- Participation in the implementation of modern safety standards
- Introduction of scientific development and proposals that increase the safety of production
- Regular monitoring of the technical condition of buildings, equipment, including those that affect the healthy working conditions, participation in the work of commissions that carry out these functions
- Сonducting or organizing all types of briefings at the university
- Methodological training and knowledge examination (certification) of Heads of departments and structural units of the University on labor protection’s questions
- Methodological training and knowledge examination for university employees that work on high-risk jobs
- Development of labor protection’s measures in a collective agreement
- Providing employees with the regulatory acts on labor protection
- Participation in the investigation of accidents, workplace diseases and car accidents
- The control over medical examinations’ passing of employees who work in harmful working conditions
