Activities of the department

The main task of the work of the trade union committee of the LNMU named after Danylo Halytsky is to protect the rights and interests of the University staff, improve working and living conditions, organize sanatorium treatment and rest, medical care and social insurance
The Trade Union Committee acts in accordance with the requirements of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Laws "On Trade Unions, Their Rights and Guarantees of Activity", "On Mandatory State Pension Insurance", "The Fundamentals of Ukrainian Health Legislation", as well as Program Documents and Trade-union Decisions bodies, the statute of the professional union of health workers of Ukraine.
The Trade Union Committee pays great attention to the drafting and protection of collective contractual obligations. The leverage in resolving all issues is the signing of a Collective agreement between the administration and the trade union committee, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Collective Contracts and Agreements". The agreement negotiated and adopted by the delegates of the conference of the labor collective is aimed at improving the collective-contractual regulation of social and labor relations, the development of social partnership, the implementation of constitutional rights and guarantees of employees.
